excited about his box of legos.
After opening up his gifts from Tj, Vance and me the only thing left was the gift from Nama and Pa. Joel was pleasantly surprised to find the Wii he had said he wanted (on a side note Tj was also excited that Joel got the Wii he said he wanted). Unfortunately we had to say good-bye to Pa for this trip and Nama for the night. The sting was short lived (sorry Pa) as the boys drowned their sorrows in the Wii.
All in all it was a great birthday weekend; a surprise visit from Nama and Pa, a fun camping trip with our friends and family, and presents. Not too shabby for Joel's fifth birthday.

Happy Birthday Joel!!! Can you believe it's been 5 years since we were hanging out, nursing our boys and chatting away? They are so grown up now!
On a side note, I've been taking spin classes at the gym and I always think of you! Miss you!
Happy birthday Joel... I was going to say some of the same things Diane said... But since she stole my comment... Time flies, and our little group of mothers of little 5 year old boy have gone all over the country. Hope you are doing good. And loving Cali. Hopefully some days we will be able to show the boys all the little friend who boarded on the same train to Earth. Take care.
